Ratatouille

Yeah, you try to spell that right the first time!
Got a chance to see a sneak preview of the new Disney/Pixar film “Ratatouille” and I give it two thumbs up. Am I biased? Perhaps. I’m a big fan of animation, Disney and restaurants so I guess that the scales were tipped in it’s favor when I sat down but, I thoroughly enjoyed the film. I think most back of house people will get a big kick out of it as would anyone who has had the pleasure of serving a “noted” food critic. Very well done and a hoot to watch.

Kids will get a kick out of it too. I happened to notice that it seemed there were waves of jokes for “older” people and many for the kids as well. Not to many to make it annoying or juvenile though. What I am most thankful for however is that I don’t recall the film ever insulting our intelligence with the all to common requisite belch and fart jokes. Thank goodness.

When the movie is released to everyone I recommend you go see it. It is a good story with a fun plot line that isn’t 100% predictable. There’s a great cartoon before the feature too!
